But of course there are the bad kind. These voices are negative, they are accusing and usually spiteful and hurtful. Obviously you know that the voices your friend hears are bad. So think about it this way. These voices are constantly talking to him. They say nothing but negative words. Imagine how your friend must feel to hear these negative and hurtful words constantly being said to him. How would you feel if this happened to you. I don't know about you but it would soon become too much for me. I hear voices, its absolute nonsense and it drives me crazy sometimes. I can only imagine what it must be like for him.

If he doesn't get help there is a high chance that he may give in to whats being said and hurt himself in either repentance, I say that because his voices state that something is his fault, (maybe something happened and he blames himself) or to escape it.

He needs help. Either he seeks it or you get help for him.

Sorry that my rant was so long and kinda pointless but I'm kinda over people making fun of people who hear voices
