I can drink most people under the table because I drink every day and have a high tolerance. If I throw up it's because I've been drinking irresponsibly.

I second this. If you have a meal the alcohol doesn't go straight into your blood system. Raw egg helps, but so does a normal meal.
I drink everyday and have a high tolerance too, but if I drink lot of something straight really fast, I'll probably puke too. And if you drink to the point of vomiting you don't know how to drink properly. You aren't drinking till you're drunk, you're drinking till you're sick.
