My dad is from there and all of his family are over there.

So, I've never been on any other vacations or had anything fancy or expensive unless I buy it myself, because it's so costly to fly that far.

So instead of all that stuff, we go to New Zealand every few years for a couple of months. It's a pretty good tradeoff.
