-2002 1500: Never worked a day in its life, tranny shot at 83k. I'm sorry, but there is a trend here. It goes something like this: Ford > GM. 
Got a better testament to why Ford > GM. My dad ran his Ford F-150 for 85,000 miles without an oil change. And it was still running strong when he traded it in.
