During Hurricane Katrina, I found it wrong that the reporters and such kept calling the black people who were stuck there "refugees". They are American citizens so why did they call them that? I think it shows how we have come this far and some people still don't think of blacks as real citizens.

yeah and if black people walked around with stuff, they were labeled as "looters"
but if white people did the same, the media called them "people trying to survive"
it's sad how racist the media can be =/
