A set of arms to keep you tightly bound.
Someone to give all of your love to, and get a little in return.
You're nervous and you're shy, but you're ready and you're willing.
And yet here you sit, waiting.
Why will no one make a move?
Why are we sitting in the silence?
Awkward glances and unsteady breathing.
Are they afraid?
What of?
You sit paitently and I don't think it crosses your mind that you're the greatest thing this world has ever seen.
Nobody wants to make a move, they're too afraid they'll mess up, they don't think they're worthy of you.
And while this is flattering, it is all the more irritating.
Waiting for love, and all that comes with it.
This is the color purple. Fear and uncertainty, but somebody's got to take a chance.
You feel like a porcelin doll, trapped in a glass case.
They marvel at your features but that's as far as they'll go.
No bother to get to know what lies beneath the mask.
You just want somebody to take you out and play with you.
Someone that's not afraid to break you.
What good is being beautiful if it means being too fragile to live life?
Love without holding back, that's all you've ever wanted.
