im 16, and bipolar. smoke weed everyday. i been off my medicine for almost 2 years. last week i got arrested for domestic violence ($2000 worth of damage) my OCD, Agressiveness, and depression are coming back. i dont know what to do. i wanna take the medicine and see if i feel any better but i heard if you mix it with marijuana it willl make you go insane. what should i do? and is that true?

Messing any mood altering drugs is not a good idea in general.   This is especially bad if one's moods are unstable.  Honestly talk to your doctor about this.  

Your sanity is worth more than getting high.

Well, I am sorry to the person you assalted. I have very limited sympathy for you though. You shouln't have gotten off you medicine or take it with pot!

Keep the pot to a minimum. It won't completely throw you for a tailspin but if you do it often it may. I occasionally smoked pot on lithium and Zyprexa for about a year with no side effects. I lost interest in pot and am now on new medications though.

What's the name of the medication you want to go on?  I'm taking Zyprexa, a mood stabilizer, and benzodiazepines and nothing bad has happened to me while combining them with weed.  But then again, it's different for everybody.

depends on what antidepressants you're on. I take lexapro which is an ssri for ocd and panic disorder, and i smoke weed everyday. But  from what i have heard bipolar people dont take ssri's and that they take another type of antidepressant
