This is happening in my town. It's pretty awful what's going on. I'd say it's completely unfair. What say you?

well, it's understandable. my dad who is a devout catholic would look very far down on this "marriage." i'm amazed the church let them get married together.

I hope that she wins but like the article said, the federal law supports their position and since the war has already been fought before, I don't give her much hope. It's a shame but that's the way it goes.

If you're going to work as a Catholic school teacher, you need to respect what that entails. You don't get to ignore the teachings of the church just because it inconveniences you.

She's a stupid woman for thinking she should get to sue. What a Catholic does is a Catholic's business, but what an employee of a religious, Catholic institution does is not just between them and their god.

She wasn't forced to become a Catholic or forced to work in a Catholic institution. What's ridiculous is that she has the nerve to seek legal action against the school.
