Okay, so a couple of days back 7 of us planned to stay on top of the wrekin with sleeping bags it was freezing. My FRIEND has accused me of stealing her top and purse with 15 pounds in, I really am pissed off that she would accuse me of something I did not do. I mean I would never do that, I have already tried to explain to her that it could be a simple mistake of losing ti but she won't believe me and wants to hit me... what would you do in this situation? I don't want to lose a friend =/

She's not really a good friend then isn't she? If she can't trust you, then she's not exactly worth having, in my opinion anyway.

Tell her once again that it was no way you stole it, and maybe she dropped it or something so you need to look for it?

If shes stupid enough to accuse you of it and doesnt even have proof,
then she isn't been a real friend.
Keep telling her that you didn't do it.
If she decides not to believe you then there is no point wasting your time on her.

Have you ever stolen something from her before? Or has something been stolen from her recently? You should ask her if that's the case. Maybe she's just worried and lost her things herself and can't come up with anything because you were the closes around at the time. Even though that may be what happened, not saying that it did, but she still shouldn't have blamed you.

If it turns out that isn't the case at all don't even be bothered with the girl. If you're her friend and she's trying to accuse you of stealing something from her, and once again you're supposed be her FRIEND stay away from her. Something is obviously wrong with that supposed-friendship that you guys have. There are some trust issues.

 I know you're saying that you don't want to lose a friend, but if she was your true friend she would believe you..but she doesn't believe you. Even though you've told her that you would never do such a thing, she still doesn't believe you. Now do you think a friend would do that to another friend? So would you really be losing a TRUE friend or not? And maybe if you give it some time and leave the situation alone for a while she'll come to her senses.
