I'm trying to prove a point, vote and explain why you chose that option.

YOU just think people think that being a surgeon is harder.

They both have their difficulties. My dad's a consultant anaesthetist, so I know the sort of stuff he deals with, and while it may not be as physically demanding (you're not the one cutting open the patient) they still have stress to deal with. They need to make sure the right dosage of anaesthetic is given so that they won't die but won't be awake, look out for the patients vitals and monitor their conditions, etc. Surgeons have to make sure that they don't fuck anything up with the patient and make sure they stay alive.

well i chose surgeon because an anesthetist is the person who administers anesthesia (that stuff which lets you fall asleep during surgery).
surgeons on the other hand actually perform the surgery, so they do more difficult work.

Anesthetist, because you must really know what you are doing. The wrong dosage could mess every thing up. Too little, and you risk the patient waking up during the procedure and freaking out.

Too much, and the patient could die.

Anesthetist, I remember reading that way more can go wrong at their hands, than at the surgeon's hands.

id say surgeon. both would be tough, but i think surgeons needs a much bigger understanding of parts of the body and what to do if anything goes wrong
