It seems that from my last topic, the majority agree that general anesthetist, MD, is the more difficult career, compared to general surgeon, MD.

Now, with that said, and with the knowledge that THERE ARE specialy trained nurses who administrate anesthesia (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist; CRNA), should there be some kind of advanced nursing program to teach general surgery to registered nurses?

Explain your answer.

No, a registered nurse is a nurse. A doctor/surgeon, whom goes to college for many years, should be the only one performing surgery.
