He understands the implications of doing Duster. He actually sat and explained it to me after I screamed at him for it. Then last night he went out and did it again, then texted me saying how shitty he felt.

His friends aren't going to help. They do Duster too, and sometimes Triple C's along with him. They don't do it as frequently, but they still don't really know any real facts about drugs. I'm the one that keeps these kids from overdosing most of the time.

I think everyone else that has replied doesn't really get this. I have no desire to quit, and I have no desire for him to quit. We both love drugs and we love doing drugs together.

I'm just really scared of him using stupid drugs. The ones that are going to kill him. I guess I just need to keep saying that and if he doesn't listen I really can't live with that.

I understand you don't want to quit.  I'm not trying to tell you too.  I guess I'm just totally baffled as to why someone would want to use Duster when they very well know what it can do to you.  I mean, I'm pretty liberal when it comes to drug use.  I'd try (or at least bask before cleaning up a bit) just about anything....but shit like Duster has always been on my NO list.

I wish I could make him listen to you...but I mean if he isn't willing to, you can't force him.  Do you think it could be one of those things where he's doing it to kind of prove something?  Like that he still has some independence or something?  That might be kind of out-there.  Just something that came to mind.

I guess what I would probably do in this situation is set an ultimatum.  Tell him to choose between doing that shit or having you.  I know that's pretty tough to do, and maybe it's not what you want to do.  But I know I wouldn't be able to date someone knowing that they're playing Russian Roulette with drugs all the time.

I'm gonna try to talk to him again. I mean, I'm not trying to be a hardass about it. I just want him to lay off certain "drugs". I'm fine with opiates, weed, alcohol, etc. Just not shit like Duster. If that doesn't work I'll set an ultimatum or just end it all together until he gets some fucking sense.

He's not going to learn the gravity of this until he seriously fucks up with these drugs in some manner.

He sounds too stubborn right now to be taking anyone's feelings/concerns/well-being into account. Including his own. You can keep on telling him to stop, or you can not put up with it anymore.

e, acid, mushrooms, opiates, weed, alcohol etc. can all be used in a responsible manner if pure. duster inhalants and all otc drugs (with the exception of dextromethorphan) are pretty much retarded they are dangerously unpredictable and foolish things to do.

the only hard drug thats really dumb is cocaine because of its price and short lived addicting high

also i dont think you're being a hypocrite at all

Duster? Are you serious, he must be brain dead since that does NOT get you high, all it does it lack your brain of oxygen killing brain cells...then triple c's another brain dead move probably motivated by the kids he's around at school who are also ignorant on the matter.

A lost cause, all you can do is give the facts and watch him go goofy like Duster will do to people. The best I can explain it, one day there normal and the next there....goofy.
