This razor blade masquerade,  
Keep a woman dangling from a string until you are certain you've another hooked,  
And for all of this, I hope your line breaks!  
 
Wanting so desperately someone in my life,  
But so fearful to make it for all of the wrong reasons,  
Knowing I couldn't stand to put someone through that.  
 
"Wait until you're older, relationships are just fun and games when you're young"  
And what does that say for all of you?  
For the woman signing her divorce papers in her wedding gown?  
 
The truth is we all have hearts, to love and to hurt.  
Men do to women, what women do to men.  
What's a teenage love affair holds truth throughout life.  
Commitment dances in a lover's eyes, a mockery, a mischievous smile.
