It is the reason we don't jump off the edge
but the reason we hide.
Never risking what we have,
never trying harder.

Very few try,
and most fail to overcome it.
Consumed by it,
until all light is gone.

Those that do overcome it all,
they know where the light is.
When all else is gone and there's nothing left to live for,
they find light.

He who succeeds did not try harder,
they did not find a secret.
They just cried, they asked for help.
they knew no one can do it on there own.

It is in all of us,
some will hide,
others will fall
some will walk in the light.

I found my light,
but there is still darkness.
But it is small,
and doesn't harm me anymore.

No one wants to feel darkness,
but will you hide from it
die from it,
or live with it?
