Id have to evaluate how dangerous i thought they were when they walked in.

If they lost it completely and opened fire, id pretend to be dead, but if they seemed messed up i might try to talk to them

That actually happened once. Before I moved here. I hid in the bathroom and called 112. We were in the for a hell of a long time. I knew the kid wouldn't kill anyone though, you could see in his eyes he was scared. We had this young teacher and she fainted when the kid pulled the gun.  I talked to him for a little bit but not about the gun.  finally he put it down.  Most have been more than 10 hours.

Quite honestly, I can't imagine doing anything else than attacking.
