one, get a better camera
two, read up on photography. stuff like composition, lighting, depth-of-field, etc. you need work on all fronts. taking pictures on your point-and-shoot digital's 'auto' setting will not necessarily make for a good photo. especially if you want to even try calling it 'photography'
