It feels like period cramps (i get the worst menstrual cramps, like i actually can not move, i want to cry from the pain).    

But i finished my period like over a week ago so it seems late even for like post-menstrual cramps.  

Any ideas what is causing it?

I had severe cramps below my belly button, it turned out when I went to the ER I had acute appendicitis and needed emergency surgery. If the pain gets unbearable, go to the ER.

Also check right now if you have a fever, that is an indicator you may have appendicitis and should see the doctor right away.
