Hash might I add has lots of disadvantages, especially when I brought it. Many times its had things inside it which has made it heavier, therefore giving me less for my money. I've brought it in a large rock before.. you have to light it, then crumble it off.. its a long winded episode to get it crumbled. Not to mention hot rocks. Hash burns longer, therefore when it drops off the end of the spliff it doesn't go out, but keeps burning. My tops have so many holes in them because of this. It smells good, but the high isn't anywhere near as good - really, if you've never smoked hash you will be MEGA disappointed when you smoke it. 
My friend once found a piece of a plastic bag the size of his palm in his hash.
Shit wtf? I've brought hash maybe 5 times before. I've had balls of tin foil, garden rocks inside, some form of plastic.. all sorts. And after i found the garden rock I decided never to buy it again.
Trust me, it gets worse. I once smoked hash laced with opium; without knowing.

The best thing to do is roll a hash joint, where you replace the cancer paper for hash. As for people smoking hash here, most people are not willing to pay even more money for weed. Seeing how hash is a concentrated form of the trichomes, it costs alot more since you only need alittle to get HIGH. Therefore you will find alot of really nice weed but usually no hash to be found. BTW, all you guys posting are getting Soap Bar, not hash.  Which explains why you've had bad experiences with products people are saying is hash. When buying hash, you better know the dealer because Soap Bar can even be RESIN(that tar ridden gunk in your pipe) and most times will be mixed with resin and god knows what else.  See trichomes are the only thing that holds THC and all the other cannabinoids, which means the plant material(hemp) is useless. I've smoked hash on a few occasions, mostly with one of my friends who makes his own. It's something of a rarity around here; I can never actually go out and find hash; it just comes by as an unexpected gift.
