Not only should there be a higher Days Active requirement, I think a Board of Yore must be established to review the prospective candidates.
Hopefully this board can correct the errors that would be blocking certain members that deserve to be in from getting in.

Oh yes. The Board would also be able to waive the Days Active requirement.
