Well people kept arguing in civilized Europe and now religion is on the backburner, so obviously over there constantly telling people they were fucking retarded for believing in magical superman definitely had an effect for the better. Here in America, we're trying to catch up

Except in many cases that is a result of anti-religious governments. IE: Revolutionary France, Communism, etc.
