I'm thinking about taking a vacation...by myself during spring break. Just for a few days..Go to a new State, explore, get a feel for what I want and what I like without having anyone pressure me... and to finally feel FREE.
Does that sound dangerous/ like a bad idea?

It depends on where you go. It is totally possible for you to go many places by yourself and not put yourself in immdiate danger.
What about just getting a hotel for the weekend? You could order room service, sit in the hot tub, read, etc. And you don't have to worry about putting yourself in some sort of imagined danger.
