Alright, so I'm thirsty, and am currently in need of a tasty beverage... Coke Cola.

But I'm also feeling quite tired, and normally an Alka-Seltzer helps calm me down.

Sooo... this may seem like a stupid question, but if I put the Alka-Seltzer tabs in the Coke, would that be okay? Or are there chemical-mixing scares I should keep away from? Bubbly + Effervescent = Oh noes, but I'm probably wrong.
