my top lip right where the skin meets the lip is slightly red, but is burning like hell. It feels like my skin is peeling off, but it isn't even dry or anything.
I've tried blistex and all that good stuff, it just makes it sting more. It's not visable except for a little redness.
anyone know whats going on?

i get cold sores on the bottom of my lip, and i know what they feel like. It's like an itchy burn.
this is completely different, it's a painful tingle. i know the difference, this isn't a cold sore.
any other things it could be?
