So basically my best friend and i have been best friends for like a year now. And once we started to become best friends she was ending a relationship and since we've been friends she hasnt been with anyone since. Because according to her highschool relationships are just pointless. And now shes been crushing on the one kid and they might be going out like real soon. And Im really happy for her but im kind of like scared. Because lately we've been aruging A LOT and it might be good on our friendship but i just dont know what to expect because shes never been with anyone since i was her friend. And i have no one to turn to now and I would be fucking pissed if one day im in a middle of a break down and she tells me she has to call me back because shes talking to him.

Am i being jeluous or what?

To me, "best friend" is not just a designator for the "friend you like the most" it's something I use for someone I love as a brother and a family member, and who treats me in the same respect.
