Spring quarter I received financial aid but I failed 10 credits and didn't appeal so my financial aid was suspended and I owe my school $400 now! So i have to complete 2 quarters of classes, without financial aid to get my finacial aid back. I can't really afford to pay for it myself and my mom won't help me so I applied for a Stafford loan. Has anyone got a loan before? I'm wondering if my financial aid situation will stop me from getting the loan? Or what I have to do now? I applied online about 2 months ago, and I finished th workshop thing that was required and now when I sign on to the website it says "your school has been notified that you finished couseling"
Can someone Please help me? I will give you 1000 points if you actually help me! Thanks!

You can still get that Stafford Loan, that's good you applied for it. They will help you even if you are down with financial aid.. that's what they do, they loan it to ya.. don't worry. I'm sure it'll get fixed once your loan comes through. Then your F.A. will be back to normal.

If you're offered a Stafford Loan, most likely you will not be denied for it, since it's a federal loan and all. It's actually not too bad, because you can either start paying it off, but you really dont have to until a year after you graduate or if you happen to transfer or drop out.

You should still be able to get a loan, the best thing you could do is go talk to the financial aid office at your school.
