It's probably genetics. I hear when you go to China, you will rarely see an obese person.  I'm not sure if that applies to Japan too, but most likely it does.

I know people who eat as much as they can and they can't gain weight even thought they want to and have tried weight gainer, protein and all that. It's their metabolism.
