Hey everyone, I have to make a silly mp3 player by monday. It's almost done, the only thing I can't get working is a dynamic text box to show the time elapsed of the playing song.

I thought this code would work, but it doesn't.
Code:

onEnterFrame = function () {
soundPosition = s.position/1000;
seconds = math.round(soundPosition)
};

soundPosition works perfectly fine when I trace it, but for some reason I cannot use math.round to change the seconds from being displayed as a whole number. Anyone know another way I can get the soundPosition to be displayed as a whole number??

*smacks self*

I didn't capitalize the Math in Math.round.

So that works, but now my stop button doesn't.

I'm too late, but yes, I was going to suggest you check to make sure the spelling of the function you are calling was correct.

Hope you did well on the assignment.

I've got spurs that jingle jangle jingle.
As I go riding merrily along.
And they sing, "Oh, ain't you glad you're single?"
And that song ain't so very far from wrong.

Thanks, I hope so too. From this assignment I learned that coding at 4 in the morning isn't always the best idea, haha.

What?!  The dean of the Comp Sci dept at the college I graduated from said that his best coding was due to lack of sleep and a lot of beer..

Pixie, I think you need to crank it up a notch.  Someday, you too, will shine in the glory of tired, drunken coding.
