One of the moves that made the Something Awful forums successful was when they started banning everyone who posted between 6 and 6:15. They made an announcement about it, and actually ended up banning a large number of people. The funny thing about it is that it worked - idiots who don't read shit got banned.

Not that this is what LW needs. But I'm just saying. Maybe take a week where anyone who says "lol" gets instantly banned. Things would clean up real fast.
