I think women should have the right to chose. They might not be able to look after a baby because they aren't ready for one, in which case it would be better off both for mother and baby (if that is what she wants) to terminate the pregnancy. Not that I would ever do it.. I'd have to seriously think about it, but I won't disagree with people who do it if they have reasons like that. And as long as they do use contraception, it can't be helped.

i don't believe in abortions period, whether the woman was raped or not, there are other options like adoption. in my opinion, if your willing to have unprotected sex knowing that you might end up pregnant then i think that you should be able to suffer the consequences! to me having an abortion is murder and i think that anyone who gets an abortion should get charged with murder!!!!!!!!!!

You do realize that a lot of people use protection and that protection fails? Condoms break, birth control pills fail, nothing is 100%. Also, since we're all stating our opinions here, in my opinion, you don't know what you're talking about. You think babies should be punishment? What kind of awful person does that make you? Time outs are punishment. Getting your allowence taken away is punishment. Being responsible for the welfare and development of anothe human being is not a punishment. It's a responsibility, and it's one that should not be taken lightly. Babies should not be born because "whoops, the condom broke, I guess I'll have to suffer for the rest of my life". That's not how it works. That shouldn't be how it works. Not everyone can "deal with the consequences" and suck it up and love the baby and never take their anger or regret out on the child. Everyone needs love and acceptance, from little tiny babies who can't help themselves, to teenage girls who made a mistake and are trying to put their lives back on track. If you're not willing to get an abortion that's fine, but abortions are going to continue happening. They existed before they were legal, they will exist after, and charging a woman with murder is absolutely ridiculous. Have you never heard of self defence?

pro choice without a doubt. and pro choice is exactly what it sounds like - pro CHOICE, not pro abortion. pro lifers seem to think it means pro abortion, but its not. no one wants to get an abortion; its the hardest possible choice a woman could ever have to make.

i think abortion is a good thing. personally if i got pregnant i wouldnt even think twice about having it or not i would jst go get an abortion. the only time abortion is wrong is when people have it more then 5 times. if that happens you need to go on birthcontrol or use protections god damn it.

Well if there dumb enough to get pregnant before they are married then no the shouldn't be able to get an abortion. Your killing a human being. Now If you have been raped thats different. But I say abortion should be illegal unless the girl has been raped or there is some thing wrong with the baby and the mother is in danger of dying.

personally believe that marriage has no meaning without kids therefore if you're not willing to accept a baby if a pregnancy occurs then you shouldn't be married. unless of course you have some medical problems. sex is meant for married people. children are too. the purpose of sex staring from the beginning of mankind was to reproduce.
