Some people doesnt find out the same week they get pregnant.  

I think changing the time is stupid, cause it takes time to find out that youre pregnant, you might not notice. You maybe need time to decide.

I agree it should be regulated. I think if people are going to get an abortion they should only be allowed to do it before the end of embryogenesis (approx 10 weeks). That should give a person more than enough time to figure out if they would like to terminate the pregnancy or not.

The problem is people rarely know immediately that they are pregnant - especially if they were using birth control. And as stated by others, until 25 weeks it is incapable of feeling anything, pain or otherwise.

I'm pro-choice. I'd rather people not have abortitions, but if it's outlawed people will try to do it themeselves or have it done illegaly. I also wouldn't like to have a child born into an abuse environment in which I/we couldn't escape.  If the mother is a young girl the prenancy could kill her, so abortion wouldn't bother me. For me there has to be a good reason.It's a womans body, but please people, birth control.

Hell, why are we even bothering to pay large amounts of money for this operation? Couldn't we just as easily drop the baby in the trash? I mean it's the same basic outcome right?

I will agree that a baby produced by a rape isn't exactly a preventable, but that doesn't mean there aren't good options out there.

However, I'm not going to give a whole lot of sympathy to Dick and Jane who decided to take advantage of the fact that Jane's parents are away for the weekend. "Oh it was such a great 16th birthday party last week, and I'm ready for the rest of your present. Oh, you forgot your condom? It's okay, what are the chances anyway?" Well dumbasses, you just made your bed (or unmade it, if you like) and now you either have to accept your responsibility, or find a loving family who will.

  Actually, fetuses develop the heart relatively early in the pregnancy. By the fifth week (just after you'll notice a missed period), the heart is beating.

Sara honey, you are wrong. Plain and simple. And I have proof, as I've seen a fetal heart beat coming out of my own body as low as 6 weeks. My friend Jenn is 13 weeks pregnant, her first ultrasound was at 5weeks4 days and they had a heartbeat during that time.

Do some research and you'll find that the information you've been provided is incorrect, and unfortunately you can't argue with the fact many of us who've been pregnant have seen the heart beat after 5 weeks.

I also think since it takes two people to make a child, it should take two people to get an abortion.

However, there are people out there who would say "no, I'm not letting you have an abortion" when they have no interest in the child, they just want to fuck up the woman's life.

There are people out there who make decisions based on emotions, instead of logic or reason (not that this is always bad, but especially when something involves another life you really want to do your best to make the right choice...whatever that choice may be at the time).

The whole "it should take two to get an abortion" thing sounds good...but what happens if the guy isn't around? What happens if the girl wouldn't want the guy to be around the child anyway? Just as I think it's unfair for a child to be forced on a guy by a woman, I think it's equally unfair to force a child on a woman by a man. A child shouldn't be forced, which is why I'll never agree with someone else making decisions on a pregnancy for someone else.
