I just installed Damn Small Linux on an old computer (about 10yrs old) and I'm very pleased. To start it recongnized all my hardware and didn't beep and whistle that I didn't have a network card. Later I popped the network card out of my newer computer and put it in to download dpkg and it recognized my network right away as well! I'm only using it to play CDs (which it does automatically), play some games like tetris, mario, zelda, you get the idea, and word processing. Overall I'm very pleased with this distro.

I too have DSL running on al old compy of mine. Its 75 mhz, 8 meg ram. Runs Like a charm, but I have no real use for it since I can't host my own email. My danged ISP will sue me and suspend our service if I host my own mail I might turn it into a firewall of sorts when i get some spare time.
