I was Motherhood Maternity today with my husband and daughter picking out some clothes, and my daughter wouldn't stop standing up in her stroller (she can undo the straps). I asked Valerie KINDLY for about 10 minutes straight to sit down - but she kept standing up over and over. "Valerie, please sit down. We're in a store." "Valerie, if you sit down now, you'll get a treat later." "Valerie, only a couple more minutes, sweetheart." It got to the point where I had to smack her butt. Now so you know, she's wearing a diaper. So first of all, it's padded. Second of all, I don't spank to hurt - I spank to scare. Anyway, I spanked (more like tapped  ) Val and another woman in the store looked at me, gave me a disgusting look and turned and said something to her mother about it. 1. Get the fuck out of my business and don't you DARE judge me until your child is my child's age. 2. I didn't hurt her, and you fucking know it. 3. Just because you're a bitter, ugly fucking bitch doesn't mean you can determine how to raise MY child. I hate people. And worse is, I know it's because I look a lot younger than I am. And even though my husband is older than me, he looks young too. Gr. People are so inconsiderate.

How old is she, now? I really don't know how I feel about spanking. My daughter's only 8 months old, though, and she's pretty well-behaved. I do know how you feel about people, though. People can be very rude with their looks, when they have no idea what you're going through. How did Val react when you spanked her? Did she cry? I'm just wondering.
