I just did a massive report on the Big Bang, and I'm so tempted to paste the whole thing onto here.

The earth was not created, it was formed. Quote: from Forever Angel at 9:48 am on July 1, 2009
Science for the details. Religion for the reasons.
But science can account for the reasons ("preexisting conditions") as well.
Tell me the "why" of the universe. What would be the reason for its existence? What was there before the universe that determined it would come in to existence?
All "why" questions can be reformulated to "how is it that" questions. Furthermore, as I have explained countless times, the question of "how is it that" for the universe is self-contradictory. Kind of how you view the situation if I where to ask for the "why" of god.
You just verified what I said in my post and nullified your own response.
No, because it was regarding the formation of the earth, not the universe. Way to derail a thread.
