The effects that people get from drugs is from a chemical reaction that occurs inside the person's body when they take the drug, right?

Is it possible for someone to have a similar chemical reaction naturally, without any drugs, so the person would appear to be under the influence of some kind of substance when they really aren't? Like, a strange occurrence or a disorder or something?

Just asking.

You want a drug simulation?

Is that like shooting someone without actually shooting someone?

1. No, I don't want a drug simulation, I was just wondering if it was possible.
2. I don't think so?

You could stimulate your brain with different frequencies and brainwaves. Altering alpha and beta brainwaves... I read that somewhere. You'd had to listen to that for about 20 minutes

It would be quite impossible to have the effect of being under a drug without using one. Don't you think people would be doing that instead of the drug?

You're asking if there's a naturally occurring imbalance in chemicals that can create an effect similar to those created by narcotics?
I'm sure there might be, but I can't give you a definite answer.

no because the chemicals introduced to the body when something is taken isn't always naturally in the body.

Sure, sleep deprivation is known to create halucinations for instance. Or low blood sugar, I know theres probably tons more.

It also would depend what kind of drug you are talking about, but Im sure there are similar things for each one of them

yeah but the checimals only alter the natural order of the brain, think of neurology on an atomic scale with molecules floating around rotating in place and it might make sense

Adrenaline is a naturally occurring hormone/neurotransmitter that is released after heavy exercise or periods of thrill/fear.  It has effects that are similar to opiates.

Production of other neurotransmitters, i.e. serotonin can also produce effects similar to that of some drugs.  So I'd say yes...in a sense.

yes, its all about receptors in the body, every drug has a natural equivilant which we produce, heroin=endorphins, meth=dopamine, weed=alkoli, etc.

No. If you had actually understood my question...
Is there any kind of disorder or strange occurrence that could happen to someone where they could get the same effects of a specific drug.
