So off I pop, no makeup, greasy hair, and a top which is so fucking retarded I can't wear a bra with it, and I buy my paper and it's all smiles and niceness and he said he thought my dog was cute (she was outside and he could kinda see her). Then it goes Him: You live across the road from me...
Me: (acting as if I don't know) Oh...*my street name*
(short conversation about parents knowing eachother and boring crap)
Him: So, if *my mum's name* is your mum...You must be Ella
Me: I am! But...I think the post office has probably been robbed by now... Then he remembered he had to be working, and he smiled and looked at me like "...I guess I'll be seeing you at some point" I had NO idea what to say so I just grinned like a loon and walked off with my dog. Post offices in England sell candy?
LOL everyone is amazed by this. It's more of a post office-cum-general store It sells sweets and milk and crap.
I have one of those where I live. It calls itself a general store that's been around forever but it's more like a milkbar where you can post letters, pay bills and buy bus tickets.
It was only a post office for like...YEARS. Then some pikey's robbed it, then a lorry got rammed into it for no aparant reason, and then it got sold to McColls, and it's a general store. But everyone calls it the post office for sentimental reasons.
