It's suicide rates per 100,000 people of that specific race. This means that it's a relative number and not an absolute number. It means that a greater percentage of all whites commit suicide than a percentage of all blacks or Hispanics.

You're right. These graphs tells us that whites commit suicide more often, as a percentage within their group (this being of all whites) than blacks or Hispanics do.
But those are just the results. The analysis is what you think this means and why it may be that way. You need to be a little more analytical here as that's what the OP is asking for - some analysis.

I think Whites as a whole tend to be more independent than other races in the chart.
This is reflected in the fact that Whites are less likely to be in gangs, have smaller family sizes, etc.
I myself have noticed Whites tend to be more introverted than nonWhites.

Ok here's my theory then. I believe that a lot of whites go about their life more seriously and dramatically. So when things go wrong it's taken in a more serious way. Sometimes to an extend where it's like they don't want to live anymore. Maybe it has to do with the whole lifestyle and expectations of whites vs minorities.
