...once the Taliban are all but finished in Afghanistan and US and British troops are withdrawn from that entire theatre of war, British involvement will largely be forgotten by the Americans and it will suddenly become America's war in the Middle East that they won with brains, guts and solid American determination.

Does this resonate with anyone else's crystal ball?

Haha, yep!

My awesome Comet 260 crystal ball tells me the exact same thing, but with detail.
I'm going to get a Firebolt Crystal Ball soon, so it'll tell me EXACTLY whats going to happen.

Haha, it's like how they seem to think they were so involved with WWII. Both Saving Private Ryan and The Great Escape seem to exaggerate the US involvement in WWII.

Don't even mention the Pacific theatre of WW2. Apparently America single handedly beat the Japs.

I also see America somehow entering another war that it doesn't need to get into.

I think there is more truth in his statement than you would like to believe.  Americans tend to be amero-centric and self-indulged to a great degree.

That being said Europeans tend to greatly dismiss America's effect on WWII and embellish their own.
