About the subject, I think it depends on the type of Asians. People look down on Asian immigrants because they keep to themselves, refuse to learn or adapt to the culture around them, and their customs (especially Chinese) come off as rude. Asians in general are the model minority and they are accomplishing more than the majority in certain ways, even after what was done to them (like the Japanese-Americans) during WWII, so there is a bit of jealousy or resentment that goes on.
