I thught god has your life planned out before hand? Like pre-destination. I thought everything happens for a reason? As for your "shitty lives based on personal decisions" theory:
It was the Jewish people's decisions to be put into slavery by the Egyptians?
It was the Jewish people's personal decisions that lead to the holocaust?
Yes, and that's according to our choices.
Doesn't god know everything?
So god plans our lives based on the decisions that we haven't made yet. That makes sense. And if god knows everything, why doesn't he hurry up and deal with satan? I mean, if he knows everything, he should know ho to deal with satan.

Yes, what happens in the end. How all this ends is what matters. And yes it would make sense to you if you truly believe in god. I mean, fate can also change when you pray and ask for forgiveness
