ok so tomorrow's the 4th of july and my friend is having this cookout/sleepover thing. I really want to go to it but I am pretty sure my mom won't let me if I ask. She hates my friend and will probably just assume its a way for me to go get fucked up and not have to come home. How can I convince her to let me go. Please help.

Whatever you do, don't lie about where you are. I recently did that and it bit me on the ass and wasnt worth it.
Just ask, she might say yes and if she does say no, maybe she has valid reasons that shes choosing not to share with you.
