Why would he volunteer his sister.. its something that could be easily checked out and verified. Even if it wasn't his sister then wtf - he's allowed to have female friends.

You're in the wrong. I sincerely doubt he cheated on you. You accused him of something you have NO proof of. Even if your mother DID see him he wasn't doing anything that made it a date or cheating.  
You accused him of something and then just WALKED away from the situation without fully letting him defend himself.
