Hey all,

I have no where to post this subject so I'm putting it here. Does anyone know what Sleep Paralysis is? Who has had it?

It's when you wake up in the middle of the night paralized and you hear screches and you see like demons ripping your body apart and you try and scream and run away but you can't and you can even feel the pain... I heard it is rear but it does happen to many people and it's an un-solved medical condition...

I'd just like to see if anyone else gets this?

Um you don't necessarily see things or hear things. I guess you could. But it has more to do with your mind being awake but not being able to move your body. It used to happen to me every so often, not so fun.

It happens to me sometimes.  You just get used to.  Once you accept it and know it can't hurt you, the ominous feelings go away and it becomes just another normal function of your body.

Also, I read a study a while ago--if you sleep on your back, you're *significantly* more likely to experience sleep paralysis.  If it bothers you, sleep on your side and that should help.
