Any criticisms so far? It's just a holding page, but I need it to look professional because i'm going to be approaching companies for free products, so I need them to take it seriously.

Looks good so far. There are a few things that you could improve (this is just my taste, so you can do whatever you want):
Do something more creative with the logo. The grunge-style font doesn't really stand out and it is... typical
The badge in the lower right looks like standard web 2.0. That's not bad, it's just like a cliche now
I really like how you remembered to add a favicon! And if you programmed it in an IDE (like dreamweaver) you did not leave any mark of that in the html and the code is very clean and tidy.
