Neither Catholics nor "Christians" are Christians.
Contradiction.
Not at all, since by "Christians" with quotes, I don't mean Christians (without quotes), but merely people who think they are Christians.
You didn't put quotes around Catholic...
I'm sorry. "Catholics". There you go :=)
Still, it's purely an opinion that you hold, nothing more.

Why do you doubt the argument I have put forward then? Christianity has 38000 versions that pretty much disagree on most things. If this is the case, then how can this be a uniform and consistent "Christianity"?

Although almost all denominations might disagree on a few minor issues, such as Mary being a holy figure, or whether or not you must pray through saints, all Christian denominations believe that Jesus Christi died on the cross for our sins. If you believe that, then regardless of what you choose to call yourself, you are a Christian.

Mary being a holy figure, transubstantiation, the divine/human dichotomy of Jesus and so on are hardly minor issues. Even with that particular story you cited, there are conflicting accounts between denominations, such as whether or not that death was a final physical death, the nature of original sin and so on.

Christianity has branches. Judiasm, Catholic, Pentecostal (me), baptist...etc.
Hate to call you out here, but Judaism is definately not a branch of Christianity.

There is no such thing as "fruit". There are so many different "kinds"! Colors, flavors, the plants that make them, the animals that eat them... these are hardly minor differences.
