I've noticed that the img.golivewire.com server crashes/goes down/slows down quite frequently, I propose the PM system be redesigned to be "movable" onto the main server for when the img server goes down.

Not necessarily. You're only temporarily moving PM over to the main server. PM does not put THAT big of a tax on the server.

Then why did we buy an extra server which was specifically put up for the messenger script?

It would probably fuck up both servers, if one went down.

That said, LW might be getting a new server soon, where we might only need one server in the end.
