I answered her question about the saliva. If she's having sex, I assume she knows that any type of protection isn't 100%. However, against something like AIDS, if the condom is used correctly and it doesn't break, then she should be fine. The only real STD that condoms don't protect against are crabs and gonorrhea, as the former are actual animals crawling around and the latter may have a scab that is not covered by the condom.
