I didn't like that the video shows that the only way to be an open minded person is being an atheist...

Truth hurts, doesn't it.

They can.

Happily, in this case, it's the truth.

I watched the exact same video and did not think that at all.

I am an agnostic-atheist... don't get me wrong... I accept all the religions as "possible" things, but not following any.

If you accept religious claims uncritically (which almost all theists do), then how can you be truly open minded?

Are religious claims the only measure of one's open or closed mind?

No, but they are one measure.
If you accept any claims uncritically, you are not truly open-minded.
Religion is the specific topic of this discussion though so please do not switch it to whether or not you accept culinary claims uncritically, thanks in advance.

The topic title is "Open-mindedness" and there is nothing in the OP that states it's about religion. Other than the 'slanted' vid. And even if a person is close minded about his religion, that doesn't speak to the overall condition of his mind.

I don't necessarily accept any claims uncritically, but I also don't reject any simply on the say-so of a closed minded atheist. And being an atheist doesn't automatically confer the status of open mindedness. Nor does being a scientist.

In case you missed it, I wrote the op, which consists solely of a video about religion and a statement directed at you, personally.

Yes. It does. If you are not critical about one thing, you are not 100% open-minded. That's pretty self-evident, but you seemed to have missed that point so I guess I'll just spell it out. That's all I said.

Atheists can be close-minded.
Scientists can't. Last time I'll say it; being a scientist means you follow the scientific method, which means you are open-minded. You don't have to wear a white lab coat, goggles and play with bunsens to be a scientist. A scientist is a follower of the scientific method. Which means that you will listen to anything that has reasonable evidence and accept it as truth as long as that theory is not disproved or overshadowed by a theory which explains, models and predicts the world better. You cannot be a scientist without being open-minded about the world. You cannot be a scientist without being open-minded about the world.
