I take it you're a vegetarian?
Would you feel more comfortable if we had to hunt and kill our own food, as nature intended? I agree that slaughterhouses are terrible.
Culling is circumstantial. Sometimes, it may be necessary, but I've never seen it our place to decide what should and shouldn't live, and rather let them die on their own terms.
I'm against animals for industry.
