i asked some of the black girls at my school once where they got the idea to wear pacifiers, and they said "white people". then i asked them if they understood why those white people wore them, and they said no. so when i explained some rave culture to them, they felt pretty stupid for wearing them.

asking someone if they know where their 'style' comes from isn't judging them.

however i did rofl pretty hard to see their reactions to why the white kids they saw wearing them actually wore them. a few of them said they wouldn't wear them anymore because raving is for crazy white people.
