Don't you see that Lucifer does not want you to think for yourself, just to adopt his ideological worldview uncritically, rather than accepting the ideological worldview of god uncritically?
Meh. His views seem a little more reasonable than "You will now burn because I created you unless you suck my balls". With that said, Satan is almost as much of a selfish prick as God. It's picking the lesser of two evils, I suppose.
